Bath Treat

Hello peeps!! I meant to post this the other day but my mind isn't what it use to be. I blame the 3 kids sucking all of my brain cells out because I have found out they are too smart for their own good:)  Oh well better late than never I always say.
So I made these little babies for teacher's gifts for Valentine's Day.  I found the original idea on Pintrest and HERE is the link(side note: I went to Pintrest to link and just wasted 40 mins..LOL).  I tweaked mine a bit though.  I found this fun float cup at Hobby Lobby and used the light pink plastic party favor bag to hold these yummy smelling bath salts from Target.  I closed it up good folded the bag over the cup and taped on the scrubbie.  I couldn't find any bath oil beads so I just made a cherry on top with paper.  I came up with my own little verse to attach to the float.  Now I could have gotten fancier with them and next time I probably will but I did 4 of these in 45 minutes start to finish., yep that is how I do things:)

That is it for now, I have lots of crafting to do tomorrow.  Have a great one!!

The Sweet Stop Sketch 147

Did everyone have a good week? It was a fast one here.  I think I have all of the kids well now, yippee.  I have got to get motivated to paint pirate murals in my son's room.  Anybody want to help?  I think I am bitter about having to paint over his jungle room, it was so cute and I guess I wasn't ready for him to grow out of it.
It is time for another fab sketch at The Sweet Stop.  When I saw this weeks sketch, I told myself you have to try to keep it clean and simple.  Different for me because as most of you know I love coloring big images.  Well I took the sketch literally stamped everything, paper pieced and practiced doing a dotted background.  I am definitely not crazy about my card but I stepped out of my box so I will go with that.
The cupcake stamps are from Taylored Expressions called For the Love of Cupcakes.  The sentiment I picked up at Michaels and to be honest I am just too tired to go dig it out right now.

The rest of the sugar babies have some much more exciting cards to show you so please stop by and see them:)

The Sweet Stop Sketch 145

Oh it is a wonderfully chilly Saturday morning here.  I so appreciate the cold days after the 105 degree summer temperatures and drought we had.  Saturday means another fabulous sketch from The Sweet Stop.  I got to use this brand new digi from By Lori Designs Hugs for Hearts that just worked perfectly for the big image panel.
I made a banner to go along with the one on the image and used Basic Grey Sugar Rush Paper.  My usual cloud sky was inked with CTMH Twilight and clouds that I cut out.
So I used a crazy amount of Copics so, I just took a picture(this isn't even all of them).

Feel Better Soup

Happy weekend!! I can't believe it is Friday already boy time flies when you are busy.  This week the All That Scrap Digi team is using some of our favorite digis to create anything but a card.  We have a very special lady that works in the office at school who had surgery this week so I made her some Get Well Chicken Noddle Soup, which is very tasty by the way.  I used C.C. Designs Nurse Nora which happens to be my favorite get well image, she is just so sweet.  The sentiment is from Sweet 'n Sassy Poppies & Greetings.
I found this cute food safe jar(it said that on the tag;) at Hobby Lobby.  My circle Nestabilities worked perfectly for the top of the jar.  I typed up the recipe instructions and placed the image behind the words for a little interest, love digis!!
Here are the ingredients that go in the jar.
Chicken Noodle Soup In a Jar
1 Pkg (2.75oz) Pioneer Brand Country Gravy Mix
2 TBSP Chicken Bullion Granules
2 TBSP Dried Minced Onion
2 TBSP Dried Celery Flakes
2 TBSP Dried Parsley Flakes
3 Cups Uncooked Wide Egg Noodles
Pour Gravy Mix into wide mouth Quart Jar.  In a bowl combine Bouillon, onion, celery and parsley. Pour into jar to make the second layer and then add the noodles on top.  I included 1 10oz Can of White Cooked Chopped Chicken so it is ready to go. Some crackers would be nice too.
And this is what I put on the recipe card:
Feel Better Chicken Noodle Soup in a Jar
Empty contents of the jar into a 4 quart saucepan.  Add 8 cups of water; heat to boiling on high.  Reduce heat to medium; add (1) 10-ounce or (2) 6-ounce cans cooked and chopped chicken.  Cover and simmer for 5-6 minutes or until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.
Makes 8 Servings.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

Colors of Love CMC Challenge

Hi everyone!!  I am a few days later than I would like to be getting this post up busy week.  I am so excited that I am going to get the chance to go to Waco to take the wonderful Suzanne Dean's CMC Copic Class next weekend and will finally get to meet this wonderful lady and get some great tips too.  There are still some spots open so if any of you live in Texas I would love to meet you too.  You can get all of the info right HERE.
There is also a new challenge up at The CMC Copic Challenge Group.
NEW CHALLENGE #36 will run until February 17th!
Your challenge this time is all about
 ** COLORS OF LOVE**
In honor of Valentine's Day we want to see you using pinks and reds and whites & creams!
Show your LOVE all over your projects!
We want to see you use YOUR COPICS, ProMarkers, other alcohol markers or Colored Pencils!!
I just love making these treat pulls for Valentine's Day, so fun!!  This weeks sponsor is the fabulous Stamp Fairy and for my projects I used Lenny Love.  So I have to tell you I missed the part of the challenge that said "red, pink or white" and I didn't realize it until the day the challenge went live.  Since I am not much of a rule breaker I quickly recreated a pink version of the pull, too bad I was half asleep and forgot to shadow most areas, LOL.

Here is my card for this weeks The Sweet Stop Sketch.  I don't know how Korin comes up with all of these great sketches every week but I am so glad she does.
This cute image is an old Sugar Nellie Stamp called Daisy and the paper is from the new spring collection from K and Company (love it!!).  The sentiment is from Sweet n' Sassy Poppies & Greetings.
